Position Description

The internship in our US Investment Team will begin on or about June 1, 2027 and run approximately 10 weeks, through mid-August, with some flexibility for academic calendars. Candidates must be in their Junior year of undergrad (rising seniors). 

This is an on-site internship and applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will not require current or future visa sponsorship.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES (CO-INVESTMENTS, SECONDARIES AND PRIMARIES)

Monitoring Existing Private Equity Investments
  • Primary fund investments
  • Secondary fund investments
  • Direct co-investments
  • Portfolio management and allocation
Supporting the Investment Process
  • Financial modelling and analysis
  • Involvement in the diligence process
  • Preparation of investment models and memorandums
  • Quantitative and qualitative analysis of transactions
  • Market and financial research
  • Assisting in AI automation processes
Assisting in the Preparation of Marketing Materials
  • Fundraising and Secondary pitch materials
  • Market research
  • Investor reporting materials

Your profile

  • Strong academic record with demonstrated analytical ability
  • Currently in Junior Year of Undergrad (Rising Senior), majoring in Finance, Economics, or Business, or in a quantitative or STEM field (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, the sciences). Strong candidates from non-traditional backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
  • Proven interest in the limited-partner (LP) side of private equity: fund investments, secondaries, and co-investments.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential
  • Proficiency using AI tools (e.g. Claude Code, Claude Cowork, Codex, or Cursor) with sound judgment about their output
